Save A Life Day @ Lawton Library

From 9:00AM to 11:00AM

In a collaborative effort to support the health, safety, and well-being of the Lawton community, Volunteers of America Oklahoma and the Lawton Public Library are proud to present "Save a Life Day", a free community event taking place on Thursday, September 24, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Lawton Public Library (110 SW 4th St, Lawton, OK).

This event is open to the public and designed to connect individuals and families with vital resources, lifesaving education, and community support. Resources available include free Narcan (naloxone) training and distribution, emergency preparedness, overdose prevention resources, health screenings and community health information, supportive services for families and individuals in crisis, and local program information from community partners.

'Save a Life Day' is more than just an event; it's about meeting people where they are and making sure they leave with tools, hope, and support. In response to rising concerns around opioid overdose and barriers to care, the event focuses on accessible, judgement-free support. Local experts and service providers will be available to answer questions and connect attendees with essential community programs. Whether you're looking for health guidance, housing support, or want to be prepared to respond in an emergency, this event is for you.
